Jason returns home for what would seem to be a relaxing summer only to find his best childhood friend, coulda-been-girlfriend, and a pushy preacher making it anything but. After a few months pass, he begins to question his life altogether and what is his purpose if any.

    The River Within is Zac Heath’s feature film directorial debut. TRW was shot over 16 days along the Spring River in northeast Arkansas in July 2008.

    The film was the premiere film at the Ozark Foothills Film Festival 2009. It was the #5 movie in the nation per screen on its opening weekend in April 2009. Cloud Ten Pictures acquired the television and DVD distribution rights, and the film is currently available in on DVD from all online retailers and select stores.
