Directed by Thomas Della Bella and based on his successful short film Open House, The Remains follows Todd Lowe (True Blood), a recently widowed father, who moves his family into an old Victorian home to start a new life.

Even though the questionable realtor, Ashley Crow (Minority Report), assures them everything is clear, they soon discover a malevolent spirit awaiting with the intent of possessing his children. The film also stars Lisa Brenner (The Patriot), Maria Olsen (Percy Jackson), and Brooke Butler.

Fabled founder Derrick Sims directed photography on both the short and the feature version of the film. EBF Productions and Diablo Entertainment produced and financed The Remains. The film was acquired by Vertical Entertainment and was released in cinemas and on iTunes August 5, 2016. It is now available on DVD.
